Early Agriculture UAV Flights Will Probably be Flown by Consultants

A recent tweet by Altavain brought up a good link on the focus of UAVs in agriculture, it is expected to initially be a heavily consultant driven economy as a combination of developing turn-key solutions and some farmers who will be unable or choose not to learn the fundamentals of aerial survey, adapted to the smaller UAV platform.

Unlike the link, I mention initially, as with maturing technologies, evolving FAA regulations, and growing younger generations of farmers who are more tech capable than older generations, this model may or may not hold into the future, and farmers planning their own UAV flights with data analysis and newer platforms will choose to do it themselves.
