Variety of UAV Uses in Agriculture

There was a good article recently about the diversity of uses of UAVs in Agriculture.   Outside the obvious remote scanning with multi-, hyper-spectral, thermal and ground penetrating radar are other ideas that were mentioned.

Targeted aerial spraying is another application, low altitude with limited capacity due to weight issues, it can save on aerial spraying costs on some farm fields.

Livestock herding is another example, it can help track livestock and predators.
