Intergraph Partnering with Microsoft for CityNext Smart City Initiative

Intergraph is partnering with Microsoft for their CityNext program to combine Intergraph’s software portfolio with Microsoft’s.  Combined they are looking to take the Smart City concept to the next level.  The promotional material on CityNext talks about computerizing and streamlining services.  While frameworks start at the government level, the concept talks about bringing it to the citizen/resident level through the use of modern technologies for feedback on services to make the government(s) (concept allows for shared services among levels of government) more responsive.
