New Delhi Restructuring Development Authority

The Delhi Development Authority in New Delhi, India is finalizing their restructuring plan to modernize and computerize their operations.  It will mean a internal re-organization with some parts being outsourced to outside agencies.  Part of the process includes a GIS system to monitor their engineering projects, park maintenance, and a property mapping system.  The process time-frame will be November 2014 to September 2015.

Not in the article, but it also adds Geomatics opportunities in the near future as the restructuring moves along, more projects will come to fruition.
