NASA OpenNEX 2014 Climate App Challange

NASA has launched the OpenNEX 2014 Climate App Challenge,  starting August 22, 2014, after some review with keynote speakers and Climate/Meteorology and Satellite/LandSat virtual labs, there is a $60,000 challenge (total prize money) for new uses of cloud applications through Amazon Web Services to monitor and respond to climate changes around the world.  What the exact climate mitigation study and solution are up to you.  It is a global challenge and you will be able to keep your Intellectual Property to the app, just allow the NASA team usage of your solution.  The deadline to enter is October 21, 2014.
