GTMA Webinar – Mobile LiDAR – Lessons for Transportation Agencies

GTMA (Geospatial Transportation Mapping Association) is holding a webinar on Mobile LiDAR- Lessons for Transportation Agencies on July 10, 2013 from 1-2pm CDT.

Here are the details on the webinar and the presenters:

Capturing sufficient design information for complex transportation projects is often expensive for agencies and can be dangerous for surveyors. A number of agencies permit the use of mobile LiDAR to lower costs, improve roadway safety and create greater efficiencies. Paul DiGiacobbe (HNTB) will present an overview of two complex projects (I-95 Express Lanes – Virginia & I-80 Illinois) and Brett Wood (Florida DOT) will provide insight into the benefits and challenges of LiDAR from the agency perspective.

Robert N. Dingess

Presenters:
Brett C. Wood, PSM
Aerial Mapping Manager
Florida Department of Transportation

Paul J. DiGiacobbe, PE
