Shrinking LiDAR Scanners

LiDAR News has a good post this past week on the shrinking sizes of LiDAR scanners shown at SPAR 2013.  LiDAR USA has a model for $125,000 which can be placed in larger UAVs, it is 50lbs but a sign that scanners are shrinking and as technology progresses smaller and smaller UAVs can carry a LiDAR scanning hardware package.
