GTMA Annual Meeting & Transportation Data Expo

The Geospatial Transportation Mapping Association will be holding their first annual meeting and transportation data expo March 25-26, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City, VA.  Registration fees are $249 before March 10, 2013. As the agenda below says, LiDAR and photogrammetry will be covered among other topics to make the roads safer for everyone.

GTMA was created to provide a voice for the transportation data collection industry. The passage of MAP-21 provides opportunities for three dimensional imaging technologies to bring the roadway to life. Our annual meeting focuses on preparing the industry to effectvely partner with federal, state and local officials tasked with implementing new performance and reporting requirements.

Learn from the best how innovative technologies such as LiDAR, GPS, state-of-the art photogrammetry and more are revolutionizing asset data collection. Whether it is virtual design, network asset collection, pavement assessment or evaluating sign retroreflectivity, technology will revolutionize how transportation departments are managed and expand opportunities for innovators. Now is the time to have your voice heard before the standards, policies, and practices are put in place that will shape how you work for a generation.
